Departing Tumut 7.30am from Tumut Library for our drive through to Harden and onto Boorowa to the
Old Courthouse Building, where you will have morning tea and meet your guide for the day.
Lunch is included and with the touring you will be kept occupied all day.
During the tour, you will visit the Beehive Factory, Glenara Art Gallery, Walshe's Jam and Sauce Kitchen and the beautiful St Patrick's Church. before retracing your steps back home to Tumut.
Departing Tumut at 7.00 am from the Library, you head into the mountains along the Snowy Mountains Highway, through Kiandra, stopping at Adamindaby for a comfort stop and morning tea. (provided)
Arriving in Cooma, you will be taken straight to the Railway Station where your Railmotor will take you on a nostalgic 90 minute journey out to Chakola and back.
On your return you will have free time in Cooma's main street to find yourself some lunch at one of the many cafes or, if you have brought your own food, enjoy a picnic in the park.
Following lunch you will then visit the Snowy Hydro's Information Centre for a 20 minute film and for a browse around it's many displays.
You will then depart Cooma for your return to Tumut, arriving back at approx 5.30pm.
Departing Tumut at 7.45 am from the Library, you head out through Gundagai for Young, where you can have a comfort stop and morning tea. (provided)
After morning tea you will travel out to Iandra to visit the unique castle in the heart of bushranger country. A tour of the Castle has been arranged, before a "Christmas in July" luncheon at the Sunnyside Rose Gardens.
After lunch (weather permitting) there will be time to wander around looking at the gardens and old machinery.
We then depart Iandra and make our way back tp Tumut, arriving approximately at 5.00 pm
Departing Tumut at 7.30 am from the Countrylink bus-stop, you make your way towards the coast. On the way, you will stop at a suitable place for a comfort stop and morning tea and then continue through Nelligen and on to Bateman's Bay for lunch at your own expense.
After lunch it's down to Mogo Zoo where a guided tour has been arranged and some free time to see the Lions, Tigers, Meercats, Pythons, Jaguars and Bears.
You will then rejoin the Coach and travel to the Oyster Shed for a talk and a tasting of the locally grown oysters, if you so wish.
From the Oyster Shed it's back into Bateman's Bay to your accommodation for the night at the Best Western Sunseeker Motor Inn. (phone: 02 4472 5888) A two course dinner at the Motel is provided for you during the evening.
On Friday the 22nd, you take a scenic drive along the coast back to the little village of Mogo, where you will have ample time to wander at a leisurely pace through the many shops where you will also be able to have morning tea, at your own expense.
Late morning, you will depart from Mogo making your way back to Bateman's Bay on the coach, to join a lunchtime cruise aboard the "Escapade". You will enjoy a lunch of fresh fish and chips with salad on your one-way cruise up the Clyde to Nelligren, where you will rejoin your coach and meander back to Tumut, with a comfort stop on the way home.
Departing Tumut at 8.30 am from the Library and heading to the Wollundry Farmers Markets at the Wollundry Lagoon (behind the Civic Theatre) - Depart Wagga at 3.00 pm for return.
