Incorporating ALL the Villages within the Tumut Shire!

Our Services.

Servicing Transport needs,
for people who are:-

  1. Frail Elderly.
  2. People with a disability.
  3. Their Carers.
  4. People who are transport disadvantaged, in conjunction with H.A.C.C
        (Home and Community Care) clients.
  5. We also provide, limited non-emergency, Health Related transport!
            N.B. -- BOOKINGS are ESSENTIAL!!!

What sort of service can we provide?!

We can provide transport for medical appointments, shopping, and recreation.

Available is the wheel-chair modified 10 seater VW Bus, our Toyota Hi-Ace, Mazda station wagon, the Nissan 'Tiida' & our Honda Accord.

What Services are we unable, to provide?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide transport for:

The Committee!

We have a community based Advisory Committee, which meets once a month,
in the H.A.C.C Centre, at 81 Capper Street, Tumut.

These meetings, are held on the second Tuesday, of the month, at 10.00am.

You are encouraged to attend, and to become members of our Committee.

Your input and support, is invalueable to us!

The Staff.

Our staff and drivers, have all had full police checks
carried out, to ensure the character of the people involved, with your passenger transportation!

Complaints

  1. Our policy, is that Passengers, and/or their Carers, will be able to voice complaints. This can be done by way of telephone, in writing, in person, or by way of our Annual survey!
  2. All complaints,will be recorded, and investigated by the Service! If complaints are not resolved at the Driver/Co-ordinator level, then complaints will be brought before the Committee, as soon as possible! The complaint, should then be dealt with, within a month! The complainant, will be advised in writing, within 7 days, of a decision being made!
  3. Passengers, can contact the"Community Services Commission" on Freecall No: 1800 060 409, if any complaint or dispute, cannot be resolved, at the Service level!

We are auspiced, by the Tumut Shire Council which looks after the financial requirements and contracts, between the NSW Transportation & Infrastructure, NSW Health Department, and the Tumut Shire Council.
